Any ideas for hotels in Las Vegas for memorial weekend?
Adi asked:
This is my 1st time going to Las Vegas and i want to stay at a hotel where its nice yet not that expensive, prob no more than $200 per day. What would you recommend and it there any specials (promos)? I would like it in the strip or very close to the strip.

Vegas is the home of the cheap hotel room — and there are lots of places with some great rates for Memorial day weekend (Four Queens for $63/nt, etc.). Here’s a list of hotels sorted by TripAdvisor ranking:
Select your dates to see the rooms & rates available for when you are looking to go…
Hope that helps! dr_nigel_c

Stay right on the strip as long as it is between the Wynn and Mandalay Bay. Anywhere in between is fine. Best would be right in the center like Ballys, NYNY, Flamingo, Harrahs. Those would be your best bet. The prices I found were well under $200 a night. You can go to this site and in the upper left hand corner you will find a search engine. Just type in your dates and they will search the entire web for the best prices. Best way to go. lvgeno

you could economy style, a decent but not fancy room at circus circus or sahara, both
on the strip, you would save a lot of money staying at those hotels versus others
on the strip. Jerry S

Try any around the intersection of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Blvd– Ceasar’s Palace, Flamingo, Harahs, Ballys, Paris are all there. Belagio too, but it is high. Don’t miss the fountains at Belagio though. Nicest hotels that I listed are Ceasars and Paris, so you might try the rates for them– but first go and sign up online for their rewards card, and that may help you get a discount when you reserve a room. The others listed are ok, standard hotels, not anything fancy. But great location to walk to a number of other hotels and shops. I know I am going in July and the Palace Tower in Ceasars was only $169, and it is a fantastic room- 600 sq ft, two person tub, double shower, two bathrooms. So you might get a great room for under $200 when you go even there or at Paris– which has similar luxory rooms. Jasper
