Best place to celebrate 50th Birthday in Las Vegas?
chelko asked:
I have been to Las Vegas numerous times and am planning to celebrate my “50th” Birthday there in August 2010. Getting a group (approx 10-20) people together to go and am trying to get ideas for a great way to celebrate. Ages will vary from 21-70yrs old.

Getting a group like that in Vegas is hard as each person has their own idea of fun. If money is no object, rent a room in a convention area or a very large suite, have them provide all the refreshments. I did go to one at Palace Station years ago. banananose_89117

Here are a few things you can add to your list of things to do.
1) Dinner and Show at Tournament of Kings at the Excalibur.
2) Avoid clubs because of the cover charge but meet for drinks at one of the many lounges on the Vegas strip
3) Since all the pools are open in August, plan a pool party at your hotel
4) Vegas can be expensive. Follow these money saving tips and save where ever you can. Chip O

You should go to Main St and Owens. Watch the homeless, ill and decrepit of our society. See what the Mayor tries to sweep under the rug. Smell the piss and feces as the streets run with it when the homeless awake from their slumber. Then realize that 14% of Las Vegas population is in that boat or will be tomorrow. Realize that 1 of every 7 children you see will be eating government cheese and wonder why Santa forgot them at Christmas. Happy Birthday. XEricac702X

As the ages vary its difficult to say, i’m sure you will have fun wherever you end up…but for dinner I would suggest to pre-book a table as it’s a large party. Loww
