How can I fly a pet alone from Las Vegas to Massachusetts?

stephen s asked:

My brother lives in Las Vegas, and his new condo won’t allow dogs. He is trying to send my family his dog so he does not have to just give it away. We live in Massachusetts. The dog weighs about 25 lbs and is 5 months old. Anyone know how we can about this or any businesses that fly pets?

Your brother is going to need to take the dog to the Vet and get the dog a Health Certificate. This will serve as proof that the pet is safe to be accepted as Live Air Cargo. You can fly a pet on any commercial airline within the U.S. without a human companion. So… get a health certificate- call any airline you prefer- and book the travel. Ticket prices for pets is minimal. I paid $25.00 for two ten pound cats a few years ago on Delta- I doubt the rates have gone up that much. Good Luck! pinayschoolgirl

There is one company that is specifically for pets, however they don’t fly to Las Vegas or Boston. So, you can buy 1 adult ticket and get your brother to fly to Boston with the dog. However, this will be costly but it is the only way.

    Good luck! Keagan
