How can I save money in Las Vegas this weekend?
Kris asked:
My wife and I used our airline miles to get free round trip tickets and a stay at The Mirage in Las Vegas and we’re looking for ways to save money on our trip. Where is the best place to get tickets for shows? What shows are worth seeing? What restaurants offer good meals at reasonable prices? What attractions are must see? We also wanted to go see the Hoover Dam so what company is best for tours? I keep reading about coupon books and magazines with great discounts that are at most hotels. Do these really have great deals and savings available? Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

The books in the lobby do have coupons. The prices of Hoover Dam are all about the same, just the amenities like lunch can cost more.
Shows galore. There are 7 cirques but I recommend Mystere, Love or O. Other great shows Terry Fator (America Got Talent winner), Phantom of the Opera, Jersey Boys, Jubilee (original Vegas style show), Blue Man Group, Lion King, and all kinds of magicians. I would go to the hotel site for the tickets and deals. Restaraunts are from 5 star to buffet. I love buffets. Mirage will probably give you 2/1 for their buffet, etc.
Attactions are Bellagio fountains, volcano (at night) at Mirage, Sirens show in front of Treasure Island (connected by tram to Mirage), Luxor (pyramid), Excalibur (castle), and more. There is a free tram from Bellagio to Aria (lastest casino in City Center) to Monte Carlo so you can avoid long walks without paying. banananose_89117
