I am going to Las Vegas spring break 2011 can i take a 16 year old friend?

I am going to Las Vegas. I live in California im 18 im taking flight from San Francisco but I want to take my friend with me. The problem is that i dont know if a 16 year old can come with me and also what does a 16 yr old need to take a flight out of the state.
Any tips to get discounts in flights and hotels?

    yes but they can’t gamble or drink..your best bet is to leave them home and wait till there of age Samantha

    Being underage they’d need parental involvement for going over state lines AND they would be carded if they are too close to the gambling. mkt

    You know that 18 you are limited to what you can do. You cannot go into the casino or other gaming areas. Most hotels will not give you a reservation since you are not 21. You cannot go to the clubs or bars.
    And 16 year old cannot be outside the hotel after 9 pm without a parent.

    Your friend can go with you, you guys will just be limited to where you can go and what you can do.

    Being 18 you can only make a reservation to any of these hotels on the strip,
    MGM Grand
    LV Hilton
    Golden Nugget
    Luxor
    Plaza
    Riviera
    Vegas Club

    There are still plenty of hotels off the strip that you can checkin to, but since you are flying out one of those would be a good choice so you are in walking distance to everything.

    You two can see most of the vegas shows like blue man group, cique du sola (sp?), etc.

    In circus circus theres games and circus events to see. You can walk the strip, there are TONS of places to shop on the strip. Ceasars Palace this mall connected to it that is huge and would easily take 2-4 hours to navigate all the stores. tom t
