Is Las Vegas a great place to live as far as well paying jobs and schools for my children?

I currently live in chicago,Il and I feel like anywhere is better than here I have actually considered 2 places Las Vegas and Charlotte,NC when ever I get settled I want to open up a laundromat and I love faced paced cities and I want to be somewhere I can get my money generating instead of disintergrating! This city is just ridiculous!

The answer to both questions is NO. Jobs have disappeared here worse than anywhere else. The school system here is rated right near the bottom in the nation. Might want to read this article.

Go to Charlotte. I know Chicago is number one worst hit in the recesssion. Vegas is like tenth.
