I think you should visit the Excalibur Casino and see the Middle Ages show, it even serves a meal. It’s just down the street 6 blocks, and across the street. ghost

How old is everyone in the party? That really makes a difference as to what you can do in Vegas. Also what are you interested in the most? Nightclubs, Shows, off-strip fun? crimbal

Well i live in Henderson which is 30min away from Las Vegas…..The Flamigo is not one of the best but is suitable, i guess if your looking for family fun then Circus Circus is right. It is like a mini circus inside it, also they have the Adventure Dome which holds about 20 rides inside (roller coaster, 3-D, shows etc) Also the MGM is a fun place to visit, it holds the MnM factory. Also the Fasion Show Mall is a fun place to visit along with the Cesear Casino……..there are all different places every corner….. youngbutsmart

OK… I have been to Vegas before, because I have family living there! You should probably check out Shark Reef! You would have a lot of fun! It is like a mini-aquarium kind of! Or you could go to Circus Circus. They have the Adventure Dome theme park and it is pretty fun. It could be kind of expensive and it is more themed towards children, but it can still be a blast. Also, I once went to a Lance Burton Magic Show!!!! It is sooooo cool! The tricks he does are awsome and I liked it soooo much. I don’t know how much you wanna spend though. Well, these are some things you could do. Hope I helped.
Also, I heard that Le Reve was super good. I haven’t yet seen it, but I have heard many great things about it. I saw a preview of it and it looks cool. I am sure you’d have a good time! Gmo

well. there is this aquarium at mandalay bay (not sure if i spelled it right). thats a great place to go with the family. also i’d go see the pirates at T.I. (teasure island) I’m not sure but there is some nudity in it. at least thats what everyone else says but i haven’t seen anyone nude there. but the show the put on is great. Also just walking around the luxor and Cesar’s Palace is great. also the place thats like venice is good too. take a gondila ride there. Joe

You are in a good location with a nice hotel and a really nice pool. There is so much to do in Vegas! We had a really good time at Madam Tussauds wax Museum (make sure you take a camera), we did the gondola ride (tacky but fun). You HAVE to visit downtown and the Fremont Street Experience. Its like the Atlantic City Boardwalk with alcohol. The Fashion Show Mall was nice and really big. There are rides at New York, New York and on top of the Stratosphere. There is also some kind of ride at The Sahara. Even if you just try to see everything on one side of the strip, you still won’t have enough time to do everything! swf36D

You’re staying on the “strip”. Go downtown and watch the laser light show on Fremont street. It’s awesome. Go to the “Rio”. They have a free show that’s unbelievable. The “Stratosphere” has rides on the top that will scare even the bravest of us. Bellaggio’s fountains look great when you are on top of the “Paris”s Eiffel tower across the street. Me…I just play blackjack and three card poker. chilicooker_mkb

go to the Star Trek experience at las vegas hilton. Awesome and you don’t need to be a star trek fan to enjoy it. Great for the family - but not senior citizens. frnchfries2000

LaReve means the dream in French and was a collaboration of Steve Wynn and the man who originally created Cirque. IF you are looking for a family show I strongly recommend Mystere at Treasure Island, a cirque and very family appropriate. It is a local’s favorite, fun and very entertaining for all ages, and the prices is significantly better. There are no bad seats in either show.
Try for ideas and links but here are some fun ones -
Mandalay Bay Sharf Reef - self guided with earbuds and several huge aquariums that will keep all ages with their mouth open, and good for strollers and for wheelchairs/walkers/canes
Mirage Dolphin Habitat & Sigfried and Roy’s Secret Garden - very family friendly outdoor entertainment. Sorry but the volcano at Mirage is down for restoration until October.
NYNY Scream rollercoast
Stratosphere 101 stories high rides (3 of them)
Sahara rollercoaster that is short but scarey
Excalibur Tournament of Kings dinner show - very family friendly finger food jousting story
Hilton Star Trek Experience - hordes of memorabillia and two different virtual reality rides
Circus Circus Adventure Dome - fantastic indoor amusement park plus there is an arcade area in the hotel/casino
Caesar’s Palace Forum Shops - and there are two free come-alive statute shows plus hordes of stores including FAO Swartz
Fashion Show Mall - the name says it all
Hopefully that will keep you happy for your visit. banananose_89117
