Washington DC or Washington State?
Not that it matters, it will be very hot. Drink alot of water while there and you’ll be fine.
I’m from Florida where its very humid in the summer, it doesn’t get to 100 degrees here, but in my opinion 90 degrees here is much worse then 110 when I was there last summer. Come to Florida in August if you really want to feel what hot is. SUDS

It will be well over 100 degress. Somewhere between 105-110 degrees on the average. Late at night it cools down to the low 90’s if you’re lucky. I personally avoid Vegas like the Plague in the summer. Remebmer, it’s a desert. Drew

It definitely will be very hot. But, everything there is air-conditioned, so you don’t have to be walking around in the heat. You can stay around the pool or inside any of the hotels or casinos. shannlen

There are plenty of stuff to do in door. Most hotels have pools.
You can see Hoover Dam in the evening. Jeff Vee

As long as you don’t do something crazy like go jogging at noon with whiskey in your water bottle, you’ll be okay. Even though it’s over 100 degrees, it’s not humid, which IMO is what makes it hard to breathe. You want to drink a LOT of water… Easy on the booze. If you go outside, wear sunscreen. Everything has air conditioning, so you don’t have to worry about that. zippythejessi

Well it will be an experience for sure. I remember the first time I came here when it was over 100. When I exited the plane I thought I was walking into the back of a jet engine …. It took a few hours to get use to it but soon I loved it. Stay out of the direct sun light as much as possible. Drink lots of water even if you don’t feel thirsty. Be prepared to use the restroom a lot as your body is going to dehydrate. Wear lip gloss or lip balm of some kind because your lips are going to dry out real quick. I now live here and you really do get use to it. Remember it is a dry heat. The humidity is probalby around 5% so you won’t feel sticky. lvgeno

I live in London, England I am used to cold weather and lots of rain I try to go to Vegas summer and winter and I deal with the heat just fine.
My advice is do everything outside slowly and drink lots and lots of water do this and you will be just fine

It can be hot,so drink plenty of water and limit the alcohol unless you plan to stay indoors. There is not humidity. I have lived in Las Vegas for over 10 years and I can tell you that it is not all about strippers, gambling and sleazy lifestyles. Las Vegas has some of the best restaurants in the U.S. Las Vegas has a lot more to offer like Mt. Charleston with snowboarding and great hiking trails and Red Rock Canyon with beautiful scenic drives, wildflowers, and more. The MGM grand has several good restaurants as well as Mandalay Bay and don’t forget about the places off of the strip like Green Valley Resort. It’s a beautiful hotel with lots of nice places to eat and party as well. Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville at the Flamingo Hilton is a great place to dance, eat, and sip cool magaritas without having to be trendy or cool to get in.Sports nuts will love the ESPN cafe at the New York Ne York. Las Vegas is also the only place that you can go from Paris to Italy to New York in one night. So, walk the strip, see the fountains at Bellagio, then breakfast at the poolside cafe at the Wynn and shop, lunch, or see a movie at Town Square. Enjoy! Gina J
