What happens if you get caught with Marijuana in North Las Vegas?

What about if you in a car with them smoking but your just sitting in the backseat not smoking and you get pulled over?

Depends on how much weed was in the car. Nothing up to imprisonment.
You don’t have to be actively using it at the time. Having it on you is possession. Doctari

well, since its in las vegas, and I’m a juvenile lawyer there. Even though you are not smoking. Its still illegal because its a constructive possession.
constructive possession: A person who is not in actual possession, but who has both the power and the intention to later take control over something either alone or together with someone else, is in constructive possession of it.
Even thought you don’t have the intent, just being inside the car makes you have the intention. Chamika
