What is a great Las Vegas Restaurant for a birthday party?

Jenni asked:

I am traveling to Las Vegas for my boyfriends 30′th birthday. I am looking for a great restaurant for us to have a fun and nice birthday dinner. His family is also going. We are all Vegas lovers and love to dine at excellent restaurants. We are staying at Caesars but anywhere on the strip would be awesome! Need suggestions!!!

If you like fabulous meals and are willing to shell out some bucks for them, I’d recommend the Sterling Brunch buffet (9:30-2:00 Sundays only) at Bally’s. It’s an unbelievable spread of just about any high-end item you can imagine (oysters, caviar, lobster, lamb, endless champagne, etc) all of top-notch quality. It’s about $85.00 a person and well worth it! It’s the best buffet in Vegas. Adam S

As long as no one is easily offended, go to Dick’s Last Resort. Its a great atmosphere, lots of fun.
Any time you have seen someone wearing a big paper hat with something crazy written on it, thats Dick’s Last Resort. Crosswings

It’s not on the Strip but Firefly (3900 Paradise Road) is really good if you like tapas (very good for large groups!) and they have homemade sangria that is out of this world. They have a website at - you can make reservations, see pictures of the restaurant and check out the menu. Lindsay

Do it right in ceasars’s palace. and make sure you put it on your players card, so you get some comps. if the bill is higfh enough you can get a room upgrade or some future consideration for free nights at CP./ Michael M

If you guys don’t mind spending a good chunk of change…I would recommend Joe’s Stone Crab in the forum shoppes at caesars. The food is amazing, you can have steak, fish, lobster, crab. It’s fine dining with a more casual eating environment. Your boyfriend and his family will be impressed with the restaurant. It’s amazing. mcplovetodine
