Where can I have an affordable reception in Las Vegas?
Riss asked:
My fiance and I are getting married in Las Vegas in May. We already have a chapel picked out for the ceremony, but I am struggling to find an affordable reception facility. We plan on having at most 50 guests, and are open to buffet and other styles. Any ideas?

Our friends just got married and had their reception at Sierra Gold. It’s is a tavern but not any tavern you’ve ever seen. Their reception was beautiful. A private room with dance floor and dj. A banquet that was buffet style and it included prime rib, carved turkey, a couple of pastas plus a gorgeous salad. I heard it is very reasonable.

Call one of the hotels and ask if you can reserve space at one of the more lavish buffets. The Wynn and Bellagio both have extraordinary buffet spreads. You might also consider a restaurant that fits your budget.
